LABYRINTH v2.5 Is Here: New Challenges. New Ways to Solve Them.
Updated: Sep 29

LABYRINTH v2.5 brings a set of updates across the system, from changes to how deception is configured and managed to new capabilities for MSSPs and Threat Intelligence.
The release introduces updates across several areas of LABYRINTH. Four of them are highlighted in the release video: Point Types Editor, Honeynets, MSSP, and Threat Intelligence.
Together, these updates make LABYRINTH more flexible to configure, easier to manage across different environments, and richer in the context it can provide to security teams.
What’s New in LABYRINTH v2.5?
Point Types Editor
The Point Types Editor has been improved to make working with Point Types more intuitive and user-friendly.
The enhanced experience provides teams a clearer way to configure and manage Point Types, making it easier to adapt them to the needs of different environments. The result is a more straightforward workflow for building and managing deception Points in LABYRINTH.
Honeynets
LABYRINTH v2.5 also brings updates to how honeynets can be created and managed.
With more flexibility in honeynet configuration, it is easier to adapt them to the network environments where they are used.
This gives security teams more control over how honeynets are organised and maintained as their environments change.
MSSP
For an MSSP, one environment quickly becomes many.
Different customers mean different infrastructures, configurations, and operational requirements. Managing the solution across them requires more than simply adding another customer to the list.
LABYRINTH v2.5 introduces new MSSP capabilities built around this reality.
Security teams can manage LABYRINTH across multiple customer environments while keeping the operational model consistent. This gives MSSPs a more practical way to work with it at scale and adapt it to the environments they manage.
Threat Intelligence
Threat Intelligence adds a new layer for turning observed activity into deeper insight.
By bringing activity across Points, services, and sessions into a broader view, security teams can identify recurring behaviours, emerging patterns, and connections that go beyond individual alerts.
This helps analysts move from seeing what happened to understanding what the activity may reveal over time.
